I'm Too Sexy For This Blog!

Charlie WORKED the runway at Aunt La La's fashion show.  He wore some fancy True Religion jeans and a snug Elmo tee.  His stage mom beamed with pride when the small audience (consisting of other stage moms) applauded his performance.

18

Oh no!  I just turned 18 months and mommy already found my playbaby under my crib mattress! When she was changing my diaper she discovered a tattoo on my bottom, and I have NO idea how it got there.  Uncle Pat and I got new pj's for Christmas.  Who looks better?

So Young, So Impressionable...

Mommy!  It does no good trying to prevent me from watching the wonderfully violent shows available on television.  Just look at your family!

Aunts Bean and LaLa are living together again back at AGM's house.

This was Uncle Pat's reaction to finding out that Mr. Hogan was dating Aunt Bear.
Wait.  Is that Uncle Pat or Matt Lauer?

Bon Appetit!

Thanks mommy!  That pot pie or dinosaur shaped chicken nugget or veggie burger that you gave me for dinner tonight was delightful.  Each night from my high chair I get to witness you and microwave make magic together.  It's true that the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach.  Nobody has mastered the fine art of frozen cuisine better than you.  And just to prove that it is indeed possible to improve upon perfection, you end almost every meal with a handful of honey nut cheerios.  Bravo!

Meeeee-ow!

This is how I look while I cruise the 'calf with my mom and gug.

A Historic Election

Charlie*Elmo 2008
Mommy First

We have come a long way America.  For the very first time, a baby is running for president.  A vote for the Charlie*Elmo ticket gives you the opportunity to one day proudly tell your grandchildren that you helped elect the very first baby for president.  Charlie is a maverick.  He chose a monster to be his running mate.  He doesn't behave in mass.  When his Aunt Granny Mo tried to make him eat asparagus, he stood up to the long-established authority and said "NO!"  He has a plan to tackle the issues concerning most Americans.  He will make healthcare more affordable by eliminating ALL shots.  No more shots.  He will help the economy by appointing someone really good at math to be the secretary of treasury, such as his dad or the Count.   As a skilled diplomat, Charlie believes a better alternative to war would be a one-on-one game of peek-a-boo between him and any given antagonizing foreign leader.   Today America is irritated and Charlie P. Kaeding is the Boudreaux's Butt Paste that we have all been praying for.  He is ready, he is sooooo big.

One Brand New Man

My Uncle Pat has been teasing me for having long hair lately.  He told me I look like Nicky and Alex Kastopolis and sang every word from "Forever" by Uncle Jesse and the Rippers (www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVgiVlj16Uc).  So, mommy took me over to my Nelly Poop's house for a little hair cut.  I screamed and they pinned me down, but when it was all over Nelly gave me a Kashi bar and let me play with the decorative balls displayed in a lovely bowl atop her dresser.   I think I look pretty sharp.

Hammy Time!

I had a lot of fun swinging in the hammy with Aunt Bear and Mommy, until they forgot about me.

A New Cousin!

Here is Uncle Pat and Aunt Elizabeth's new dog Brady.  We have a lot in common.  We are both currently incontinent, up to date on our shots, and have lots of hair.   Brady has a big tongue.

Mommy: "CHARLIE, GET DOWN!"

Today my mom caught me on the couch playing with my balls.

Irish Fest O'8!

Mommy thought it was very important for our family to drive downtown and celebrate our Irish heritage.  So she threw on my too small mick cap from St. Pat's Day, gave me a plastic bubble pipe, and strapped me into my stroller to parade my red head around the festival.  Here is how the day went:  M&D and Mimi grabbed a couple of beers, then they grabbed a couple more, then they got really excited over these "meat pies" and ate those.  Dad went on and on about why kilts are so practical on hot days and wondered if wearing one to work would be an abuse of Casual Friday.  Then he tied a balloon to my stroller which was pretty cool, but he wouldn't let me play with it for fear of it bursting and breaking my eardrum.  They let me out of my stroller so that I could play in the fountains and that was a little scary at first, but then a lot of fun!  Mommy gave me some dippin' dots and we headed home.
